Welcome to Tall Pines Lodge and Cabins in Tellico Plains, Tennessee! Our property is located inside the beautiful Cherokee National Forest, which straddles the Tennessee/North Carolina border.
We offer six beautiful motel rooms and three cabins. Each motel room has two double beds, refrigerator, coffeepot, microwave, cable TV and bathroom.
We offer three cabins. One cabin is a 2-bedroom cabin,
one is a 1-bedroom cabin, and one is a studio cabin.
The property is on 9.59 acres of land with mountain views, a pond, and a
stream. The property is located off Tennessee Highway 68 and just 10
minutes from town.
Nearby attractions include the Cherohala
Skyway, Coker Creek Falls, Bald Falls, and The Lost Sea. The Ocoee River
and Hiwassee River are also nearby (in the next county). The Ocoee is
famous for its whitewater rafting.

About Coker Creek Just South of Tellico Plains lies a picturesque mountain village called Coker Creek, which is within the Cherokee National Forest, and nestled in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Coker Creek is also the name of the waterway which meanders through the village, known for its picturesque cascading waterfalls, ideal swimming holes and big boulders. Riding trails, hiking, gold panning, skilled artisan shops, await you. Gold was discovered here long before the California 49ers headed West, and the Cherokee made their home here until the infamous 1838 Trail of Tears. Nearby towns include Copperhill, Ducktown, Blue Ridge, Georgia and Murphy, N.C. We are nestled between two states: North Carolina and Georgia. You can drive to Helen, GA and visit Hofers, a German restaurant and bakery or visit the famous flea market in Murphy, N.C. There is so much to see and do: Blairsville, Cleveland in GA are all great towns to visit. To visit the Cherokee Nation, you drive East on Highway 64 until it ends and then on 74 South. About Tellico Plains Tellico Plains is a rural area in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Outdoor activities are many: camping, canoeing, bicycling, world class kayaking, boating, fishing on premier trout rivers, hunting and hiking. Tellico Plains is the gateway to the Cherohala Skyway, a national scenic byway and one of several excellent motorcycle sightseeing routes through the foothills of the Smokies. Here you will find a slower, yet rewarding pace of life. Turn back the hands of time and enjoy simpler pleasures of life.
